If this website seems a lot like PhishTank to you, well then good, that's kinda the point. Automated tools for phish detection just aren't good enough (stay tuned for updates on that front). Websites like PhishTank are wicked valuable, not just for the users who get their submissions verified, but also for researchers who can use this data to make headway on solving the problem of phishing. However, PhishTank has become a closed system. It no longer allows new users or improves upon the design. This is where Phish Net comes in.
Phish Net has an open registration and would love to hear what the community needs in the way of features. We aim to perfect the crowd-sourced phish detection model and welcome anyone interested in contributing. We are also working on a few other projects that we think will be of interest to the community and hope to have them up and running soon.
